How do I export a PDF to PowerPoint?
Here’s a cheat to export *any* content from a PPT presentation. I use this all the time to harvest images, but it can also be used for video and audio files. Open up a folder explorer window and locate the original PPT file. Make a copy of that file (right-click, drag, copy) then rename the extention to .zip. You may need to check the option to view file name extensions in the View tab if you can’t see the extension .pptx. Open up this new zip file (in a new window) and double-click on the ppt folder, then drag the Media folder to the same folder as the presentation which will extract that folder from the zip archive you have created. You now have a folder containing all the elements of the presentation, ie all the images and media files.

You could use this folder to keep the slides you need for future reference, but you might like to separate them and save them separately. Now to get a new presentation going, you simply drag the Media file and the video into the Presentation folder of the current document. It is not hard to imagine each slide and audio track containing a few hundred bytes of compressed data. The same approach is applicable with images. You would need to decompress each image and audio file, then import them using the same process as above to create your final presentation. This will save you a lot of time and effort, and you need only a few minutes to set up the process. I use this approach as an easy, portable way to share my slides with people that share my hobby of studying PPT presentations. So grab your projector and.
